The mission of the R.J. Richey Elementary Library is to promote reading and to teach students to access, evaluate, and use information efficiently, effectively, and competently.
All classes visit the library twice weekly during their activity time. With the teacher's permission, students may also come to the library individually. Library hours are 8:15 am to 9:30 am.
Library materials should be returned on time so that others may use them. If any item is damaged, a replacement cost will be charged. Replacement costs must be paid by the end of the school year if the book is still missing at that time.
