Quest High School
Highland Lakes Achievement Center first opened it's doors in 1993 and is now home to several BCISD and community-based programs. Quest High School - the BCISD alternative high school of choice - is truly the flagship of the Achievement Center with its state-of-the-art computer learning center and on-line NovaNET curriculum. Admission to Quest High School is made through an application process.
BCISD Online
NovaNet curriculum is made available to students throughout Texas who wish to earn high school credits via online coursework. With the approval of home-campus counselors students can take courses for either credit recovery or advancement.
Teen Parenting
Teen parenting and pregnancy related services are provided at the Highland Lakes Achievement Center for any district student regardless of home campus.
Alternative Behavior Center II
The Alternative Behavior Center II (ABCII) is the BCISD Disciplinary Alternative Educational Program for grades 6-12. Students whose behavior necessitates removal from their home campuses are placed at the center.
GED and ESL
Highland Lakes Achievement Center provides classroom space two evenings per week during the school year for community-based General Equivalency Diploma and English as a Second Language programs.
