This past Saturday, 9 students went to the TMEA Region Band Auditions and had 6 students make the band. The most we have ever placed in the Region Band is 2 so this is a huge accomplishment! Congratulations to Tess G (flute) and Austin M (French horn) made the Symphonic Band, and Spencer R(trumpet), Seth T (trumpet), Thomas R (trombone), and Joey P (trombone) made the Concert Band.
These students will be attending the TMEA Clinic and Concert in Cedar Park on December 12th and 13th.

Students…electronic devices are not allowed at school. These items are not needed @ school. This includes hats/caps. You only need your binder with paper, pen/pencils @ school. Your binder is your backpack therefore NO backpacks or tote bags of any kind need to be brought to school. If you have any of these items they need to be brought to the office and picked up after school. Thank you for following the school rules.

Reminder students…ALL students who arrive at school before 7:55 am MUST report to the cafeteria. Students are NOT allowed in the hallways, classrooms, and outside bldg. before the 7:55 ball. Thank you for complying with the school rules.

The LPCC is challenging each advisory class by hosting a can food drive to help fill Thanksgiving baskets. Suggested items include: canned corn, green beans, cranberries, pumpkin, pkg. nuts, fruits, stuffing mix etc. There will be an ice cream party awarded to the advisory class who brings the most canned foods.
If you want your advisory class to win the ice cream party makes sure you turn in your can food items into your advisory teacher so they can be counted.
